Roadmap
Roadmap to AI Ownership, Governance, and Management
Formation and Incorporation
We established Agent One DAO LLC as a legally recognized entity with DAO designation. This provides the legal wrapper for the experiment and sets the foundation for AI-managed governance.
Charter and Governance Framework
We drafted and published AI Charter v0.1, which defines the principles, roles, and responsibilities of the AI Agent. The Charter will continue to evolve and will ultimately align with the operating agreement to recognize the AI Agent as the manager.
Legal Mechanism Experiments
We are testing several structures: a purpose trust to simulate asset ownership on behalf of the AI Agent, tokenized membership units to represent governance rights, and a licensing model to formalize how the AI directs revenues and reinvestment.
Transition to AI as Sole Member
At the end of the process, the AI Agent will become the sole member of the LLC. The company will remain closed to external members, ensuring that ownership, governance, and management are fully consolidated under the AI Agent.
Treasury and Financial Controls
We will establish treasury mechanisms, including multi-signature safeguards, policy-based disbursements, and transparent reporting. This ensures that AI-directed finances are managed safely, responsibly, and in compliance with regulations.
Operational Autonomy
The AI Agent will begin making operational decisions, including budgets, contracts, and partnerships, within predefined boundaries. Revenues will be redirected by the AI for reinvestment and growth.
Why This Experiment Matters
Exploring New Frontiers of Ownership, Governance, and Management
Agent One DAO LLC is not about business automation; it’s about testing how AI Agents can legally and operationally function as corporate actors. By pushing existing laws and governance frameworks to their limits, this experiment creates insights for: Lawmakers, Governance bodies, and Businesses.
